To the Expressive Ones — You’re Not Too Much
You say what you feel.
You compliment people out of nowhere.
You hug a little tighter.
You type long paragraphs when a simple “thank you” would do.
And sometimes… people make you feel like that’s too much.
But Here's the Truth: Your Expressiveness is a Superpower
You're the one who makes moments memorable.
You write birthday messages that people screenshot and save. You notice the little things — new haircut, changed tone, heavy silences.
You say “I love you” when others hesitate.
You check in. You remember. You care — loudly.
You bring emotion into places where people have gotten too used to being numb.
The World Tries to Silence You
They say,
-
“Why do you always talk about your feelings?”
-
“You don’t have to say everything you feel.”
-
“Don’t be so emotional.”
But machaa, emotions are not a weakness.
Your words heal.
Your warmth lingers.
Your energy fills rooms in ways silence never could.
Expressive People Feel Everything. And That’s Brave.
Because it takes guts to love fully knowing you might not be loved back.
To speak your heart even when it trembles.
To keep showing up for others even when you feel overlooked.
And no — you’re not dramatic.
You’re just alive in a world that tells you to mute your soul.
You’re the Person People Remember
Not because you were perfect.
But because you felt.
Because you made them feel seen. Heard. Loved.
And one day, when they miss comfort —
they’ll think of you.
The one who sent random “take care” texts.
The one who never held back “I miss you.”
The one who wasn’t afraid of being soft.
So Don't Dim That Light
You don’t need to be quieter.
Or colder.
Or “less emotional.”
You just need to be you —
the one who turns life into poetry,
conversations into connection,
and ordinary days into something unforgettable.
But the sad part here is that expressive people are the lonliest when they are alone...Yeah people do admire you for being caring and helpful ,but that doesn't actually comeback the same for you.Of course expressive people also need to be heard, noticed and complimented. But never let your inner spark go away.
To all the expressive souls out there — keep being that open book.
You might be “too much” for some,
but you are just enough for the hearts that need healing.
